Conversion Checklist

• Open a Randall-Story State Bank account today by applying on our website, calling 515-733-4396, email info@RandallStory.com or stop in and visit with one of our knowledgeable personal bankers.
• Make sure all checks have cleared from your current checking account before closing it.
• Double check maturity dates if transferring a Certificate of Deposit in order to avoid any withdrawal penalties.
• Provide us with your direct deposit vendors (payroll, Social Security, interest payments, etc.), so we can send your written authorization form notifying them of the change in your banking relationship.
• Provide us with your vendors who automatically take payments from your checking account (utilities, insurance companies, internet service providers, banks, cable, etc.) so we can notify them of the change in your banking relationship.
• With the list or current bank statement you have provided, we will send written notice to those vendors you want to continue to generate automatic deposits and withdrawals. Most forms will require your signature.
• After receiving your final statement for the account you are closing, destroy all remaining blank checks. This is a security measure for your protection. If you prefer, we would be happy to shred them for you.
• To help manage your finances, we would be glad to assist you in transferring your other banking relationships to Randall-Story State Bank - such as CDs, IRAs, Savings, and Loans. Thank you for choosing Randall-Story State Bank.
